Not Much Longer...

she is almost..one!

we are going on a mini *Get-Out-Of-Dodge*! It has been in the -30's here for almost a week so we are heading to a Water Resort! I am going to soak up as much of her babyhood as I can before Friday comes steadily speeding along.

Mark and I spent New Years 2009 with some close friends.
I purchased some grape juice and a wine bottle cover along with two cutesy glasses for my mom and Hannah.
Well apprently she LOVES acting *fist-ta-cated*!


I perhaps need to take some lesson's from my 5.5 year old!

Her Beauty

is breath taking to me...well on the right day! HaHa
Sometimes we have to remind Hannah that we need to strive to make our innner beauty show because outward beauty does nothing. Well...except, take mommy's breath away and make daddy worry about the boys!

they made me...a mommy!

so I am sitting here jotting down the final details for the girls dolls I purchased at Baby Be Blessed, and listening to Hannah sing into her HSM microphones...and I start blubbering like a giant baby. I am so blessed.
My girls are complete and utter miracles.
I have said this before and here I sit and type it again,
every child is a miracle...but my girls beat the odds.
Why?
Because my God is way bigger than anything out there!
He is so good to me.

Can It Be?

That Miss Miles will be ONE in less than four weeks...
WOW has time flown by, Mark and I really wish it would slow down.
We want to enjoy and savor each moment and new milestone with her and her big sister.
Everyday she is learning more and more. You can tell when she is studying you to learn what it is that your doing.
Her newest and most sweetest word is "Sissy"...
I melt into a ball everytime she looks at Hannah and says "Siss-say".
Oh how we are blessed!

New Year

The New Year is fastly approaching.

Mark and I both desire so many changes in this new year, 2009.

We were so blessed with Miles almost a year ago.

Christmas was a tough one for me but also a very blessed one.

Katelynn would have been celebrating her 6th birthday.

I would never wish to have her here on earth because God took her for reason's so much greator than what I would of had for her to stay.

But that doesn't mean I do not mourn the loss of my babies.

I wonder what she would of looked like, what her voice would sound like. Would she have her daddy's curly hair or my awful straight thin hair.

God blessed us with Miley and she has brought so much joy into our lives. We had a very rough road to get her here but it has been easy sailing since so I will focus what is ment to be instead of what was not.

a passion

I have such a desire in my heart to be a photographer that it aches at times. I am JUST getting started and I don't know much but hoping I learn so much more. Tonight I dressed the girls in Christmas dresses and decided to have a photoshoot...so NOT easy with a 5 year old and a 10 month old. Here is what followed!

I placed a few order's for cards to Walmart.com to get sent to our one hour photo. About 5-10 minutes later I got a call from the photo lady saying I needed to bring in a copyright release form for the professional pictures I sent in. I laughed out loud and I think it caught her as rude and I than said "Ma'am those were taken in my kitchen." I had to sign a paper saying I was the photographer. I would love to start something on the side to earn alittle extra money to put back into my photography so now I am in search of a name. Hope you enjoyed my photo's!

Not Me! - Monday

I did not work the Santa Shop at Hannah's school today and throughly enjoy myself, no...not me!
I am not looking forward to working it again tomorrow, no...not me!
I did not pick up McDonald's for dinner because Mark is out of town at a game tonight, no...certainly not me!
I did not take my bra off when I got home because I am used to nursing bra's and even thou we are still nursing I tried wearing a regular bolder holder, nope...definatly NOT this mom!
I did not go to 2 GNO's (well in) this weekend, no...not me!
I did not go shopping yesterday and buy an activity table for the girl's playroom for Christmas and have the Man put in together and in thier room last night, no...not me!

Hannah's school project

we were as a family to make a Christmas Ornament from odd's and ends around the house.
We used a no scratch pad for the backing.
cherrio's for the corner pieces.
red tic tacs for a border along with a candly bracelet.
we printed a black and white (loosing ink) picture of Hannah being silly.
strung a piece of pull chain through and linked a HOOK to it.
TAAHHH-DAHHHHH!

No, Not Me Monday

It's almost over, but eyh better late than never...
I did not lay in bed today watching the boob tube while hubby cleaned the house, no not me.
I did not allow Hannah to go to school in some tattered jeans with a bit of dirty stained knees, no not me.
I did not put a fleece onepiece on Miley because I was too lazy to go downstairs and get a pair of PJ's after her bath, no certainly not me.
I did not once again get hurt by a family member at a gathering on Saturday, no not me.
I did not tell my mom we would just invite them here on Christmas day, no not me.
I do not still hurt because of this family member and cry every night because of it, no not me.
I did not put loads of sour cream in my chili...twice, no not me.
